I keep getting errors when I try to submit deviations.. Anyone else getting these problems? If so, how do I resolve them?

Photography Guinea Pigs Wanted!

Okay, many moons ago, I attempted to find subjects.. unfortunately, at the time, my camera SUCKED. Well now that I've got a semi professional, I'd like to try again.

This is free because I will be tweeking and refining technique.

So here's the deal.. it takes one hour and 250 shots. Of 250, depending on the rigitidy or fluidity of your demeanor in the photos, you may receive up to 40 of them back. (this is above average.)

If you are more shy or rigid, it will be more difficult to disguise that in a photo, no matter how hard I try to get you comfortable.. although, I do have the knack for that.

I've got a short list of people already. And when their freaking SCHEDULE's can merge with mine, they'll be photographed.

I can not promise perfect results, although most people have been very satisfied, and because they are free, I don't see why there'd be an issue. And if you are dissatisfied, well hell, let's do it again. :)

So here's what I need. If you live in Houston on surrounding areas, and would like to be photographed, please let me know.

I'll put you on my list and we'll need to set up a schedule. Unless you have professional lighting.. (which I do not at this moment, but am working on.. it's VERY expensive.), then I'll have to shoot outside between the hours of 4 and 7 pm. Unless the day is overcast or you have a pretty large umbrella, the lighting will not permit good photos on a completely sunny midday.

I promise that when I can afford professional lighting for inside portraits/ photos you all will be the first to know. I can not WAIT to try you out under those lights.. yeahhh more practice!

I ask that when you come to photograph, that you bring makeup, unless we have already planned something different. And unless you are one of these artistic people who KNOW how to coordinate flashy or alternative style clothing, PLEASE wear something simple, beautiful, and not too loud. BELIEVE me, you'll thank me later.

One other stipulation. Anyone who has taken photos with me will know that you will NOT see ANY photos until I have completed post editing. I am not perfect and YOU are not perfect so please allow for this process.. (effects may also be added.)

My final announcement is this: DO NOT ALTER ANY OF MY PHOTOS IN ANY WAY OR CROP MY NAME OUT OF THEM.

IF you would like to see certain effects or colors, etc.. or if something in the photo is bothering you (skin blemishes, etc.. which I am pretty good at removing anyway) you need to tell me. Otherwise, I will be PISSED. This is not too much to ask. When I first started my artistic ventures, I made the mistake of kindheartedly and innocently altering the amazing photos of another artist, and she was LIVID, with good cause. This has happened to me more than once, and while I understand that it is innocent, it still upsets me.

I didn't realize how offensive that is until I had my own photos and art to display. This is not only copyright infringement, it is rude. If your editing causes the original integrity of the photo to be shoddy or unattractive in any way, it is my name that will be smeared. So please ASK if you'd like a change to be made.

As far as my digital art goes, I'm debating a way to sell these, if you're interested, because I've had so many requests, please let me know. I'll find a way to send you a high quality print for a reasonable cost.

In any case, set up some time with me. Either respond to this post or send me a message, and we'll set something up. I'd like to meet, preferably, in an area not too inconvenient for me. I'm hardly ever home because I am working with people constantly. I have work, school, girls I work with, and lots of time photographing and doing digital art. I HAVE to make time for my family, as well.

Thanks!

p.s. If you've got props, BRING UM! (ie, you play guitar ;) or something similar, or would just like to be photographed with a very large rubber duck.. LOL!, you get the point.)

Photoshop trouble... HELP!

Journal Entry: Fri Jul 4, 2008, 5:53 AM
Ugh

So my photoshop cs2 does this from time to time, today is just HORRIBLE.

I get through various tools, having to save my project about FIFTY times because it will freeze up. I will go to push file save and it will not drop down the box. THEN it won't even close. I have to go to task manager and exit that way. And MANY times, I lose ALL the changes I made to the original piece.

SOMEBODY please say you've had this happen and know a fix.

I can't get ANYTHING done because it won't stop freezing up.

PLEASE help me.
